The release of "The Tide" is not only a milestone in the Indonesian wunderkind's budding career, but also a poignant personal triumph. After mysteriously popping up on cryptic posters around the world, the band officially resurfaced last month with the release of their first original track since Hailed by many as their biggest release to date, the aptly titled song informed fans that the trio are very much " Alive.
The highly anticipated release was then followed up with two stunning remixes : one courtesy of Anyma —the new electronic music alias from Matteo Milleri of Tale Of Us—and another from Croatian house music legend Solomun. However, no further indication of a date has been disclosed at this time.

It's a beautiful song made richer through its deeper meaning. This is exactly how I perceived it to be as well. She is not scared of the end or Armageddon, because she doesn't have to worry, she keeps faith, and God will be there to protect her. Read your bible, it talks about cities burning and crumbling, rivers and seas drying out and the people panicing. Its saying that hes the perfect man because that is what Jesus is, the perfect man.

General Comment To me it sounds like a declaration of love for a man. From her viewpoint it's a deep and sustainable love. And the song is not addressed directly to the beloved one but to a third person or to herself or something else, as for me even something divine. Yet I think that it's about love between humans.

So now to the reasons for: The first verses indicate that she is well aware and has no doubt experienced all the human not just male! She may have been angry at her boyfriend and come to the sad but inevitable and important realisation that perfection will never be found in us or our fellow human beings and that it's unfair to expect it.
By the way, if this WAS about a boy, it'd be unlikely and unfair to say that he was the only human being who had no failings! God being Jesus as it's quite blasphemous in other religions to reference God in such a personal way. Jesus which was a common boys' first name at the time by his very existence, was meant to personalise our relationship to a previously "distant" God who people were terrified of The final couple of verses take on an Apocalyptic tone.
She's saying that her faith in Him being next to her will not waver no matter what catastrophes happen and even if the end of the world comes. The final verse alludes to a famous quote by Jesus in the Bible Luke , Mark , Matthew : "Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away" and also Matthew "And remember, I am with you always, till the end of time".
I just doubt that it could be about a boy when she says things earlier in the song, like "You won't find him ever where the rest go" and "all my friends have vanished", "can't find no help or love for free" etc.
I mean even the best person in the world would find it hard to live up to all that.
