Who is zippy the monkey

I have carried him with me where ever I have gone I love that thing! I got him on my first Christmas Dec, And since then I had carried that Monkey every where I went.

He was my long time friend and still is. I have had him since I was a infant at 11 months old!! Am 44 and so is my Monkey zip. I used to fed him pretend apples and all too. I dressed him in all sorts of diffrent outfits just like he was a baby. He is so old his fur is fading off him but, he is still my buddy! I had a similar one that had white hair and a banana and white shoes. His name was bj and still sits on my bed to t his day 32 years later,beside the one i purchased for my infant son artie may he enjoy him as i enjoyed mine.

I actually wanted the monkey that had a rubber face but hands with a banana and plastic feet. I got one very similar as i had one as a child and have him with me always. The zip was for my husband and now my daughter has clamied him. Anonymous on I still have my Zip the Monkey doll!

I loved my Zip doll so much that I always had him with me and it shows! The doll was very special to me and a big part of my childhood.

And year of copyright. There were so many Zippy Monkeys made, it's really difficult to say, sorry. I have a Mr. Bim Zippy and as someone else mentioned, the only marks are a rectangle on the bottom of each shoe. How do I clean it? Can I put it in the washer in a garment bag on hand wash and let it air dry? If not, what is the best way to clean it? What are the insides made of. It almost feels like saw dust.

Hi Becky, I don't think you should put it in the washer but gently hand wash it. Not sure what's inside though. There are some websites with instructions on how to clean vintage plush dolls. I have found you all sharing wonderful stories.

I have this stuffed monkey. His name is Stanley a n a me my brother gave him when I was 3. I am I have had him with me my entire life I love him more than anything. My grandma gave him to me. I've just looked into this monkey as I have one from regal toy limited and had never looked into it. It was my great grandmothers and I always played with it so she gave it to me when I was approx 10 years old. She's been gone 15 years just recently so wanted to do some research.
